Exercise program needs participants

ALAMOSA –Now in its second year, the Larry Holder Cancer Survivor Exercise Program is currently looking for participants for its upcoming fall study program. The study is a fully-funded, 12-week exercise program offered to all adult cancer survivors at any stage or treatment or remission, scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 26. In order to accommodate as many participants as possible, both morning and afternoon sessions will be offered three times a week at the Alamosa Family Recreation Center.

For those San Luis Valley residents interested in being a part of the study, there will be an informational meeting held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14 and also at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15 at the SLV Health Education Center.
