Erick Thomas Lakey, also know as E.T., 26 of Albany, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2018.

Erick was born on September 9, 1992, in Abilene, Texas to Richard (Rick) Lakey and Cheryl Fowler. 

Erick was the youngest of many siblings and towered over them all.  Fun loving, generous, and big hearted; Erick will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  He was known to be a very hard worker, and his boss was known to say, “get the big guy to do it”.

Erick attended Grade School in Alamosa, Colorado.  He later attended High School in Albany, Texas and played football for the Albany Lions.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars, playing chess and cards.  He was especially good at cutting up with friends and family.

Erick is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Martha Lakey and his brother Justin Myers.

Eric is survived by his mother, Cheryl Fowler (Gary Brown) of Abilene, TX; his father Rick Lakey (Chris), of Wilson, Oklahoma, his mom, Bobbie (Kingsley) Lindley of Alamosa, Colorado; his paternal grandfather Richard Lakey (Louise) of Healdton, Oklahoma; his maternal grandparents Doni Fowler, of Abilene, Texas and Linda Atkins (Glenn) of Clyde, Texas.

He leaves behind his older siblings, Cody Myers (Heather) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Wendy Terrell (David) of Silsbee, Texas, Brandi Edwin (Adam) of Ohio, Trisha Carrion of Abilene, Texas; step-brothers and sisters Aftin Gillespie (Seth), of Alamosa, Colorado, Kyle Slingerland of Monte Vista, Colorado, Justine Bonadies (Paul LeCours), of Alamosa, Colorado, Marc Bonadies, of Alamosa, Colorado, Curtis Orr (Brittany) of Columbus, Ohio, and Jordan Groves of Wilson, Oklahoma. 

Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews grieve his loss as well.
