ALAMOSA — Our beautiful young lady passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 15, 2019. Known to those who loved her as Bug, Mija, Sis, Love, Em and Empi. Born April 7, 1995 to Darrell Archuleta and Dede Archuleta in Alamosa, Colorado.

She was a strong spirit that left us way too soon. Emiliana was a strong headed girl who loved her family and friends and always held them close to her heart. She loved her man James and their six pitbull babies with everything. She loved dubstep, dancing, muxing music, fashion design, the mountains, concerts and experiencing new and exciting things in life, she also loved annoying her big brothers and would do so whenever she go the chance.

Her big brown eyes and amazing, infectious laugh will remain with us forever. She is survived by her Mon, Dede Archuleta, her Father, Darrell Archuleta, Brothers Joey Chavez and Johnny Beard, Auntie Sue Martinez as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by many family members including grandmothers Mary Lou Beard and Tillie Archuleta, cousin and Godmother Shawnase Martinez, cousin Moses Archuleta, Uncle Mike Beard, Aunt Priscilla Montoya and others too numerous to mention but ot forgotten.

When you remember Emiliana, celebrate and hold close the memories you have of her, remember that life is too short and fragile and should be lived to the fullest.

Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of life will be held at Romero’s Funeral Home in Alamosa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinner will follow at the San Luis Valley Health Education and Conference Center in Alamosa, located at 106 Blanca Ave. Food and drink donations would be appreciated.
