Eleanor “Clorinda” Rodriguez was born July 1, 1947 to George Gardunio and Claudia Trujillo in Sanford, Colorado.  She married Lawrence Rodriguez on May 26, 1967.

Eleanor worked most her life as a personal care provider taking care of the elderly.  She also recently worked with Meals on Wheels delivering food to the elderly.  Eleanor enjoyed the time she spent with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by one daughter Roxann Northrip of Alamosa, Colorado and one son Larry “Brian” Rodriguez (Kelly) of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, her loving grandkids Jane Rodriguez and Rodney Northrip Jr. both of Alamosa, Colorado, Isaiah Rodriguez and Marcos Rodriguez both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Arianna Rodriguez of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Matthew Jaramillo of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, her great-grandkids Gerald X. Rodriguez and Sean Rodriguez both of Alamosa, Colorado, Elaine Montez and Pricilla Wolfe both of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rudy (Patsy) Gardunio of Arizona, Corina Quintana of Alamosa, Colorado, her daughter-in-law Elena Rodriguez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, three sister-in-laws Theresa Gardunio of North Canton, Corinda Gardunio of Denver, Colorado and Maryann Gardunio of Manassa, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Claudia (Trujillo) Gardunio, her husband Lawrence Rodriguez, her son Michael Rodriguez, her brothers Ralph Gardunio, Tony Gardunio, Eloy Gardunio, Adam Gardunio and brother-in-law Jerome Montez.

Cremation was chosen and a Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 7:00 P.M. at the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Manassa, Colorado.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. also at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Manassa, Colorado.  Burial will be held at a later date.
