MOFFAT — Edna Marurgrite (King) Bennett passed away on June 6, 2021, at her home in Moffat, she was born in Crestone on May 17, 1940, to Ed and Felice (Stressle) King.

Edna was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She raised two children and worked as a PCP provider for the elderly. Edna enjoyed visiting with her clients and getting to know them. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Getting together for gatherings always made her day. Edna was a member of the Crestone Baptist church and Moffat Free Spirit church. Edna enjoyed activities such as snowmobiling and Square dancing. Later in her years, her knee surgery ended up keeping her more home-bound than she would have liked. Having her great-grandchildren Troy and Madison spend their school breaks with her would be her entertainment.

Edna was proceeded in death by her parents Ed and Felice King, her brothers Jack King, Jim King, And Robert King. her sisters Emily Goehl, Polly Coombs, Isabel Wooden. her son Harold L Bennett Jr.

Edna survived by her husband Harold L Bennett of Moffat Co. Daughter Robin Kocerha of Moffat Co her kids Yancy Mann of Texas, Quinton Mann his daughter Candice of Center Co, Felicia Kocerha and her kids Troy and Madison of Pueblo Co. Step Daughter Leeann Dickerson (husband Robert) of Olathe Co, her kids Heather Bayless (husband George) of Delta Co kids Alyssa and Ailyn. Angel Sharp (husband Jack) kids Kaitlyn and Rowdy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10 at 10:00 am at the Crestone Baptist Church. A private interment will take place at a later date.
