Eddie Paul McCormick, 62, of Florence, CO died Thursday, February 22, 2018.

Ed was born June 27, 1955 in Del Norte, CO to the union of Walter Wesley and Dorothy Elizabeth (Stickler) McCormick.

He is survived by his wife, Jacque (McCarty) of the family home in Florence; son, Wesley of Florence; grandsons, Konner and Roy McCormick and step-grandson, Liam; daughter, Laura (Mark) Villescas; grandchildren, Ryan, Bryce and Elizabeth Villescas, all of Alamogordo, NM. Also surviving is brother, Tom (Judy) McCormick of Coal Creek and sister, Pam (David) Ploughe of Florence; and mother-in-law, Phyllis (Davenport) McCarty of Las Cruces, NM; sister-in-laws, Jan (Barry) Plante of Shoreacres, TX and Darla (Erik) Matthew of Las Cruces, NM as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Peggy Lou (Burnie) Paul.

He was a 1973 graduate of Alamosa High School, and had lived many years in Alamogordo, NM following his marriage before moving back to Colorado in 2012. Ed was employed at City Auto Plaza in Canon City at the time of his death.
