ALAMOSA — Early Iron committee members have begun soliciting donations and car sponsorships for this year’s 37th annual SLV Early Iron Festival that will be held in Cole Park Sept. 1-3.

Potential donors should be cautious about who they make donations to due to some fraudulent activities in the pass. When solicited, please ask for proof that the person is actually part of Early Iron.
