ALAMOSA — Alberta and Eric Medina of Alamosa and Carlos Duran of Monte Vista announce the engagement of their daughter Danielle Leigh Duran of Alamosa to Nicholas John Martinez of Velarde, New Mexico, son of Benny and Angela Martinez of Velarde, New Mexico.

The couple plans to wed at 2 p.m. on May 12 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Espanola, New Mexico.

Danielle attended Alamosa High School and is employed with Wildflower International in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Nicholas is a graduate of Espanola High School who is employed with Los Alamos Labs in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
