DEL NORTE — Doris Uldene Ratzlaff, 81, of Del Norte, passed away May 21, 2019 at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. She was born April 14, 1938 in Holly, to William and Florence Hazen.

Doris married Roy Ratzlaff on Jan. 6, 1957, and they raised three sons together. She enjoyed devoting much of her time and energy working at their family upholstery shop and being with her family. She was an active member of Gateway Church in Del Norte. Her interests also included square dancing, walking and reading.

She is survived by her three sons, Roy (Vicki) Ratzlaff Jr.; Tyler (Bonnie) Ratzlaff; Tracy (Elizabeth) Ratzlaff; her grandchildren Justin (Sara) Ratzlaff; Kathy (Kevin) Garcia; Matt (Christina) Ratzlaff; Casie (Ben) Dellenbach; Adam Ratzlaff; Ben Ratzlaff; Jake Ratzlaff; her brothers Ed Hazen; Elvin (Linda) Hazen; her sister Della (G.W.) Pierce; and great-granddaughter Courtney Ratzlaff. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Roy Ratzlaff; three brothers and four sisters.

    Viewing will be held at Strohmayer’s Funeral Home 205 S. Broadway, Monte Vista, on Saturday, May 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. Services will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 1 p.m. at Gateway Church 975 Grande Avenue, Del Norte. Internment will be at the Monte Vista Cemetery.
