La Jara resident Dora Elena Martinez Soto, 70, formerly from Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, surrounded by her family she went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2018. Dora was born on July 9, 1948, in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico.

She was born to Alina Chacon. Dora was a very hard worker and a strong person. She worked as a care provider for Conejos County Nursing. Dora enjoyed her flower garden. She had flowers surrounding her home inside and out. She loved the mountains. She loved taking nature walks especially along the river. During these mountain walks she enjoyed seeing the wildflowers. Another passion of hers was dancing. One of her favorite places to visit was Taos, New Mexico. She adored the many shops there and her place to stop and eat was Guada La Jara Restaurant.

She adored her family. She will be dearly missed.

Dora’s survivors are her husband Fred Gutierrez, her sons Juan Carlos, Juan Manuel Morales, daughters EvanJelina Morales, Lety Morales, Julia Morales, Yanett Morales, all from Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, her sisters Sandra, Lucha Mies and brothers Jesus, Veto Soto from Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, her cousins, friends and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren.

Services, rosary and funeral were held in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico.
