MONTE VISTA — The Kiwanis Club of Monte Vista wants to thank all the businesses and individuals that donated funds to purchase new flags for the club. 

Putting out the flags is one of the many rewarding projects and services the club performs for the community. It gives the club great pleasure to be able to display the flags on holidays and special events such as 9/11, Stampede, Veterans Day Parade and other events that honor the community and country.

Donations were received from Ray and Colette Skeff - $1,000, Edward Jones/Jeff Keck - $100, Rio Grande Savings and Loan Association - $100, Monte Vista Elks Club - $200, Dan Burns - $20, Ben Gibbons - $100, Southern Colorado Computer Services - $100 and Monte Vista Rotary Club - $100/
