Doggie Easter Parade raises funds for Valley Humane League

Alamosa High School Key Club held their first Doggie Easter Parade at Cole Park in Alamosa on March 31. They made over $400 for their group, a portion which will go to the Valley Humane League. Twenty dogs and their owners entered the parade and received a shirt and door prizes along with the top three pups receiving prizes for the “best dressed.” Participants won $50 cash for 1st prize, a $50 Walmart gift card for 2nd prize and a $15 Petco gift card for third.
