ALAMOSA — More than 100 kids in need had presents under their tree this year thanks to the efforts of some very giving clients, friends, community members, and all the employees of Dell’s Insurance Agency, Inc. in Alamosa. For the 12th year in a row the employees of Dell’s Insurance Agency, Inc. donated their time, wrapping skills and toys in order to help make sure some deserving kids would not go without a gift this Christmas.

“Once again we had a tremendous turn out of extremely generous people,” said Alicia Duran, marketing coordinator for Dell’s Insurance and the person heading up the toy drive. “And we were able to collect enough gifts to make sure every kid received two to three gifts. Every year it amazes me how caring and giving people are.”

“Just like last year Social Services in Alamosa and Adelante Family Services provided us with a list of kids’ first names & ages and then it’s our job to match up the donated gifts to each kid. This year we also took on the task to supplement another organization’s toy drive that needed some help.” Duran continued. “We were really fortunate that so many people were willing to help put a little extra magic in these kids’ lives this holiday season.”

Everyone at Dell’s Insurance would like to express their sincere thanks to each and every person who dropped off a gift or money. Because of people who care enough to go a little out of their way, many deserving children had a wonderful surprise this holiday season.
