MANASSA — Manassa resident Darvell K. Ware, 42, died December 31, 2020, at his home in Manassa.

Darvell was born in Denver, Colorado the proud son of Donna Ware.  He worked for the Conejos County Sheriff as a Detention Deputy and loved his work and made several friends.  Darvell also loved to fish and camp and hang around with his family.

He is survived by his mother Donna Ware, his step-father Richard Riley, his aunts and uncles: Melvin L. Ware of Denver, Ronald L. Ware of Stockton, CA, Mary H. Mayes of Arvada, Patricia A. Ware of Denver and Sheila Ware of Denver; as well as numerous cousins and extended family and friends.

Darvell is preceded in death by his grandfather Willie Ware, Jr., his grandmother Earthel Ware; his uncles Willie H. Ware and Frank Daniels, Sr., and his aunt Mary L. Brown.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the Manassa Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Interment will follow services in the Manassa Cemetery.
