Crestone hosts open studio tour

CRESTONE — The annual Crestone Artists’ Open Studio Tour will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 14 and 15, from 12-5 p.m. in the community of Crestone and the Baca in southern Colorado.

There will be kick-off event on the evening of Friday, October 13 from 5-7 p.m. at the Desert Sage Restaurant for a chance to meet the artists and preview their work. Fifteen professionals, among them, sculptors, painters, photographers, craftspeople, installation, printmakers and mixed media artists are involved in this year’s tour. A digital version of a map to each studio may be found on the website www.crestoneartists.com as well as connections to studios that are open year round.

Please join the artists of the unique community of Crestone/Baca. The event promises to be a blue-sky weekend of creativity.
