CREEDE—Creede School will host a Career & Technical Education open house on Friday, Sept. 28 from 10-11:30 a.m. to showcase the work of the students and faculty. Creede Ladies Aid Society had given a generous donation to get the program started, made in memoriam of the late Paul Stone, a Creede local and favorite eccentric pyrotechnic. Ladies Aid will provide refreshments while faculty and students give guided tours. The open house will end with the unveiling of a permanent tribute to Stone, which the CTE students designed themselves.
