Conservation meeting at Square Peg

ALAMOSA — The Mosca-Hooper Conservation District will host its quarterly meeting of the Rio Grande Watershed Association of Conservation District and invites all San Luis Valley landowners to participate in a soil health listening session to get landowner input on critical soil health work in need of engagement, and to inform about the ideas-in-progress of a state-wide effort at developing soil health projects, programs and innovation-sharing.

The meeting is scheduled to take place Dec. 3 at 6:00 p.m. at the Square Peg Brewery, 625 Main Street, Alamosa.

Dinner will be provided; however, there will be a cash bar for those interested in libations. 

The Rio Grande Watershed Association of Conservation Districts includes the Rio Grande, Center, Conejos County, Costilla and Mosca-Hooper Conservation districts. The Mosca-Hooper Conservation District is a county-wide district in Alamosa County established on June 7, 1943, and provides leadership in natural resource management for the betterment of all present and future residents of the district through education and example.
