Conour Animal Shelter dogs looking for homes

MONTE VISTA — Conour Animal Shelter would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to all those who have contributed to the success of the Upper Rio Grande Animal Society by contributions, donations, volunteering and general support at Conour Animal Shelter.

PHOTO AT THE TOP:

Elsa (pictured at top) is a 2 year old Pyrenees mix. Very calm, and aloof, she just hangs out all day. She has higher grooming needs due to her beautiful coat catching everything and she’s currently shedding her undercoat.

ROTATING PHOTOS BELOW:

Negra and Chucho are 1 year old Chihuahua mixes that are very nervous. The siblings, brother and sister,  arrived very cautious and full of bark, but that’s all it was. They have opened up greatly since arriving, they’re just looking for their ‘fur’ever homes.

Small, little gray and white dog was found in Center, at 7th and Hurt on 9/16/21

Rex is a 2 year old male Shepherd mix. He had 1 previous owner, and wound up pretty isolated so he is still working on his manners. He’s very active, playful, vocal and can just bowl you over.  Rex needs a home full of patience and understanding
