ANTONITO — The Conejos Writers’ Circle will offer its annual Fall Retreat on Friday and Saturday, October 5 and 6, at the Steam Train Hotel located at 402 Main Street in Antonito. 

This year’s theme is “Heritage-Driven Writing.” The presenters include a cadre of esteemed local writers such as Aaron Abeyta, Carole Counihan, Jay Warner, Frankie Colton and Linda Smith. 

The cost is $30 for both days which includes three meals (Saturday only is $25; Friday only is $20).  You may book your own lodging directly with the Steam Train Hotel at 719-298-8908 if you wish to spend the night.
