CENTER — Center resident, Clifford Adalbert Dabney, 78, passed away on Jan. 2, 2020 in Alamosa. He was born on May 22, 1941 to Ralph Dabney and Lucille (Bowles) Dabney in Center.

Clifford enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially when working in his garden or collecting rocks. He served in the United States Navy in the Vietnam War, and retired after 22 years in the service.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Dabney; and sister, Charlotte Welch (Dave Boggis). He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Sandra Dabney.

Cremation was chosen and burial will be held on Friday, Jan. 10 at the Del Norte Cemetery.
