ALAMOSA — To facilitate spring cleanup efforts, the City of Alamosa will be offering free large item trash pickup to city residents beginning Monday, May 8th through Friday May 12th. A pickup of no more than three large items per household will be offered during this time for city residents. Electronic items, tires or hazardous materials cannot be accepted. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners must have the Freon removed and the red tag placed on them prior to the time of pickup. Lawn debris must be bagged separately for composting.
