The 8th Annual Alamosa Christmas Light Parade on December 22 drew 3,000 people to downtown Alamosa, making it the largest Christmas Light Parade yet, according to Dawn Honeycutt, Alamosa Round UP, which sponsors the event. “We are already looking forward to next year,” she said. Judges were Alamosa City Manager Heather Brooks, Councilman Charlie Griego and Councilman Michael Carson. Parade winners were: 1st- Ef’s Restaurant; 2nd- Alamosa County; and 3rd- Alamosa School District.
