Chris D. Manzanares, 55, died January 2, 2018 at the hospital in Alamosa, Colorado. Chris was born in Alamosa, Colorado, on February 5, 1963. He is survived by his daughter Maria Dominguez, his son Chris Manzanares, 8 grandchildren in Espanola, New Mexico. His brothers: Joseph and his wife Kathy Manzanares (Alamosa), Ricky Manzanares (Alamosa), Roger Manzanares (Monte Vista) and Ted Flores (Colorado Springs.) His sisters Diane Manzanares Guzman (Texas) and Alberta Manzanares (from Albuquerque, New Mexico) (deceased). His dad, Joseph P. Manazanares (deceased) and his mom, Birtha Garcia (deceased) and Helen Flores, who raised Chris.

Chris enjoyed fishing, gambling and spending time with his family.

Cremation was chosen, and the celebration of his life will take place and be announced on a future date.
