Brenda Kay Mercure Corona

ALAMOSA — Brenda Kay Mercure Corona, age 51, of Chandler, Az, passed away with her loving family at her side, on Friday, September 1, 2020. She was born on November 20, 1968, in Alamosa, Colorado, to John Wayne Mercure and Nancy Widger Mercure. She attended Alamosa High School, Tempe High School and Rio Salado College. Growing up in Alamosa, Brenda was devoted to her horses Sundance, Jade and Roman. She spent every day that she could riding and caring for her horses with her Dad at her side. She participated in 4H and won numerous ribbons competing in Western Riding Events. 

Brenda was most proud of her four daughters with Hugo Corona, Jessica Corona, of Chandler, Az, Melissa Corona, of Waco, TX, Alicia Corona, of Phoenix, Az, and Andrea Corona, of Chandler, AZ. She is survived by her father, John Wayne Mercure, of Chandler, AZ, and her sister, Terrie Mercure Pizza, of Marietta, GA, and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Widger Mercure Weintraub.

Brenda was a loving, kind and compassionate Mother, Grandmother, Daughter and Sister, and she will be missed and remembered with eternal love by her family every day. 

The family will receive friends between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020,at Barah Ministries, World Wide Christian Church in Mesa.
