Brad Levin visits SLV

Democratic Attorney General candidate Brad Levin, right, discusses local issues with Alamosa County Sheriff Robert Jackson, left, such as the county jail and courthouse—which recently got a $73,196 grant from the Underfunded Courthouse Facility Commission for landscaping—along with the national opioid epidemic during a meet and greet at The Roast on Thursday.

The Denver attorney said that he wants to focus on helping Colorado instead of attacking the Trump administration and is one of six candidates currently in the race.

Before heading to Huerfano County Levin met with a number of city and county officials in addition to the District Attorney's office and the Rio Grande Water Conservation District.
