Betty Joyce Fiorini

Alamosa resident Betty Joyce Fiorini, 83, passed away on May 18, 2022.  She was born on April 22, 1939 in Regina, New Mexico to Ben and Mina (Gieger) Malcom.  Betty married Don Fiorini and was a devoted wife for 62 years.  She enjoyed flower gardens, antiques and treasure hunting with her daughter.  Betty was a longtime employee and store manager for Kelloff’s for many years and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 51 years.  Above all, she loved her husband and family.

Betty is survived by her children, Dale (Karen) Fiorini of Centenial, Colorado and Donna (John) Fiorini-Phroper as well as five grandchildren, she truly cherished, Robert “Fred”, Mark “Peewee”, Tyson “Buckshot”, Kevin and Aaron, eight great grandchildren and her siblings, Calvin Malcom of Cuba, New Mexico, Jack Malcom of Espanola, New Mexico, Carol Wiese of Cuba, New Mexico and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her twin sister Barbara Walkup, her brother Jim Malcom and her great granddaughter, Trinity Gallegos.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday May 21, 2022 at the Sanford Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Hospice Del Valle and may be made in care of the funeral home office.  To express condolences, please visit www.rogersfunerals.com
