Beth Jayne

SOUTH FORK — Beth Jayne, age 63, unexpectedly passed away on Aug. 2 after weeks of difficulty recovering from cancer surgery.  Born to Helen and James Miller (both deceased) in South Dakota, Elizabeth Katherine Miller lived most of her life in Colorado. 

Graduating from Denver Christian High School in 1974, she served with The Navigators in Spain.  Her 35 years of marriage to John Jayne, included various ministries in Colorado, many mission trips abroad and six years traveling with The Mid Valley Quartet.  Most recently she and her husband have served at New Hope Community Church in South Fork. 

She leaves behind two children and their spouses John (and Misty) Jayne, Jeremy (and April) Jayne, and grandchildren:  Kaitlyn (and Dustin) Robertson, Hannah and Hayden Reynolds, Kassandra Karel, Kylie Jayne, Connor Jayne, and great grandson, Jaxon Robertson.  She also left behind two sisters and their spouses: Barbara (and Hermann) Mischke, Alice (and Brian) Brown, and brother Paul (and Carol) Miller.  Her extended family includes numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends who have benefited from her sunny spirit and dedication to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

A memorial service will be had at 10 a.m. on Aug. 14 at New Hope Community Church, 25258 U.S. 160  in South Fork.
