SAN LUIS VALLEY — Bertha  Ribal, age 81, died Jan. 2, 2020.

She died peacefully and without pain after her battle with cancer. 

Bertha was born July 16, 1938 in Cumbres.  Her parents were Cornelius and Adele Ribal from San Luis Valley. 

She is survived by six daughters, Debra Looper,  Yvonne Comar,  Kathy Bailey, Cindy Whittington, Lisa King and Nichole Hughes. 

She is survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. 

A private memorial service will be held in Mississippi. 

She will be interred at Mt. St. Francis Columbarium this summer in Colorado Springs.
