Benito Martinez, 74, of Pueblo, Colorado was born in Alamosa, Colorado to Jose Amadeo and Mary Martinez on April 9, 1944.  He went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2018. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Mary Martinez and siblings, Charles A. Martinez, Isaac Martinez, Ruth Martinez, Toby Martinez and Lucy Montgomery. 

Benito is survived by his siblings, Connie Tabeling, Marcella (David) Alires, Reggie (Dianna) Martinez Loretta Esquibel, Dora (Ellis) Braud, Bernadette (Steve) McCowan, Anthony (Betty) Martinez and Madelyn Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. 

Benito had many interests which included fishing, wood working, joke telling and dancing.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served his time in Germany.  He then went to work at CF&I as a machinist.  Benito will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him dearly. 

Memorial Service will be Friday, 2:00 p.m. Romero Chapel.
