Basic genealogy class planned

ALAMOSA—Local genealogist Martha Kelly will conduct a six-week genealogy class, "Basic Genealogy Research”, beginning Tuesday, April 4, at the Alamosa Public Library, 300 Hunt Ave., Alamosa, from 5-6 p.m.

Would you like to know more about your family line? Come to these classes and we will help you start your family tree.

Some computer skill is necessary. It will be helpful to have a laptop to bring to class.

The class will meet each Tuesday for six weeks. These are progressive classes so you will want to start with the first class. Bring names, dates of births, marriages and deaths and the places where these events happened for your parents and grandparents. Individual help will be available.

This program is open to the public interested in genealogy research. Space is limited to eight students, so call 589-6592 to reserve a seat.
