Anthony Espinoza, 34

Alamosa resident Anthony Espinoza, 34, passed away September 17, 2017. Anthony was welcomed into the world on February 13, 1983, the beloved son of Thomas Espinoza Sr., and Brenda Lucero Espinoza. He was united in marriage to Maria Madril. Anthony was an avid Denver Broncos fan, he enjoyed going fishing, camping, going to car shows and listening to music. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his children, family and friends. Although his time with us here was not long enough, Anthony made a lasting impression on everyone he met with his unique personality and compassionate nature.

Survivors include his mother Brenda Espinoza of Alamosa, CO; father Thomas Espinoza Sr. (Cheryle) and his daughters, Alize Espinoza, Juanita Espinoza all of Alamosa, CO; son Damien Espinoza of Alamosa, CO; sisters Tammy Pacheco of Alamosa, CO; Desiree Lee Espinoza of Alamosa, CO; brothers Thomas (Amanda) Joseph Espinoza Jr., of Denver, CO; Angelo Espinoza of Alamosa, CO; cousin John Espinoza of Alamosa. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends.

Anthony was preceded in death by his sister Angela Lucero, paternal grandparents Max Espinoza and Esther Lara, maternal grandparents Frances and Charles Levi Lucero.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alamosa. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 AM also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Alamosa Cemetery. A candlelight Vigil will be held in the parking lot between the Alamosa Jail and the parking lot of Youth Track in Alamosa on Saturday night 7:30 PM.  The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
