Alamosa resident Anna J. Miani, 85, passed away January 22, 2018 at the Rio Grande Hospital with her loving family by her side. Anna was born on May 1, 1932 in Venice, California, the daughter of Jackson Clifford Osborn and Anna J Simpson Osborn. Anna was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who devoted her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed furthering her education and learning as much as she could and enjoyed attending college classes at Adams State University. She also enjoyed reading, singing and spending as much time as she could with her children, grandchildren, other family members and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her children Roseanna Miani, Bernice Ponomarenko, Michael Miani all of Escondido, CA; Dominic Miani of Washington, Christina “Tina” Miani of South Fork, CO; Anthony “Tony” Miani of San Bernadino, CA; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; sister Patricia Graeff of Las Vegas, NV; brother Clifford Osborn of Fresno, CA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents Jackson and Anna Osborn, grandchildren Nathan Richeson, Jennifer Le, Steven Ward and one brother Jackson Clifford Osborn Jr.

Cremation was chosen and services and inurnment will be held at later date. The care of arrangements have been entrusted to Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
