Albino A. “Fred” Trujillo Jr.

Alamosa resident Albino A. “Fred” Trujillo Jr., passed away July 31, 2018 at Parkview Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Fred was born on July 18, 1937 in Manassa, Colorado, the son of Albino Trujillo Sr., and Tomasita Lopez Trujillo. He worked and retired from the railroad after 35 years of faithful and dedicated service. Fred was an exceptional and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who enjoyed fishing, was an avid Denver Broncos fan and spending time with his family and railroad buddies. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife Stella Trujillo of Alamosa, CO; daughters Josie (Francisco) Burrola of Idaho; Ruby (Ernest) Archuleta of Canon City, CO; Sally Trujillo-Miller of Alamosa, CO; Margie Trujillo (Randy DeHerrera) of Alamosa; 16 grandchildren and numerous great and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents Albino and Tomasita Trujillo Sr., two sons JoJo Arellano, Ralph Miller, grandson Jeremy DeHerrera, one brother David Trujillo and three sisters Betty, Linda and Margie Trujillo.

A Vigil Service with Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Alamosa Cemetery.
