ALAMOSA – One local athlete was inadvertently omitted from this past weekend’s state track and field meet coverage.

Alamosa High School sophomore Brant Jackson  finished in seventh place in the Class 3A high jump at a height of 5-feet 11-inches.

In addition to the high jump, Jackson was also a member of Alamosa’s 4x400-meter relay team. He along with teammates Chase Smith, Santiago Trujillo and Jayr Almeida finished in eighth place in a time of 3:29.96.
