Alamosa Seniors: Pool tournaments offer noisy fun

ALAMOSA — I love Pool Tournament days! Excitement crackles in the air as we welcome new and old friends. It’s a day filled with food, healthy competition and comradery. And noise! Lovely noise! Cheers when a tough shot goes in and groans when one is missed. Win or lose, fun is what it’s all about. Oh and food…..

Alamosa Senior Center volunteers are hard at work preparing for our Patio Sale. The sale takes place July 27-29 from 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. I know it’s Stampede weekend, but I hope you have an hour or so to drop by! We are still taking donations and as always thank you to the folks who have dropped such outstanding items by!

If you have never tried acupuncture, now is the time! Rick Wertz of Sunshine Acupuncture offers a free clinic for folks 50 and over each Wednesday at 10:30 here at the Senior Center.
