Join the Alamosa Senior Citizens on Friday, July 6th @ 8 a.m. for a fun trip to the Creede Repertory Theatre. We will be attending the production of 9 to 5, a toe-tapping smash musical with music and lyrics by the one and only Dolly Parton. See what happens when three female co-workers are pushed to the limit by their sexist, lying, conniving boss and decide to take matters into their own–very capable–hands. Based on the groundbreaking and popular 1980 film, this hilarious and timely story about friendship and revenge will leave you feeling triumphant and your heart singing. The following weekly activities are for all seniors whether you are a member or not. Please come and join us!

* Coffee social hour @ 8 a.m.

* Puzzle construction.

* Dime Bingo, M-Th from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Free to members. $2 fee for non-members.

* Dream Workshop with Roy Kiefer on Mondays @ 9:30 a.m.

* Tai Chi with Lyn Johnson Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m. throughout the summer and Wednesdays @ 5:30 p.m. The Wednesday class is free to members of the Alamosa Senior Citizens and $10 per class for all others.

* Free 5 point ear acupuncture conducted by Rick Wertz each Tuesday @ 9:30 a.m. for veterans and seniors 50 & over. Those who participate note less stress & anxiety, & better sleep.

* Knitting/Crocheting group meets each Monday throughout the summer @ 10:30 a.m. and the Mah Jongg group @ 1 p.m.

* Linda Falkenthal is here each Friday from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. to help with your computer, smart phone or tablet needs. Call to sign up for a session.

* Chair Yoga - Fridays @ 10 a.m.

* Dominoes - Fridays @ 12:30 p.m.

* Daily transportation is available for seniors 60 and over between 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Please call ahead at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a ride for errands, doctor visits, grocery shopping, dining and participating in events at the Center, etc.
