Colin Waters, representing the Colorado Lottery, presents the Colorado Lottery Starburst Award to Alamosa Mayor Ty Coleman on Saturday at the Alamosa Multi-Use Facility and Ice Rink during the first intermission of the San Luis Valley Youth Hockey Association game at the new rink. Starburst awards recognize excellence in use of the funds for community projects. The new pavilion was made possible thanks to a $350,000 lottery-funded grant from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO).
