Alamosa Home opens new artwork, design collections

ALAMOSA — Alamosa Home is pleased to invite the public to an opening of new artwork and design, featuring works by Perla Kopeloff on Saturday, February 24th, from 4-6 p.m. Meet Perla and experience her new fiber series, “CAMISAS”.  This mixed media collection features collage in layers of silks, handmade papers and felted fragments and 3-D objects. Best know in Santa Fe and Taos for her beautiful and unique “wearables”, these latest pieces will not only be displayed, but also featured in a live, roving fashion show during the opening.

Sculpture and paintings by Kathy Park, along with paintings by Henry Woolbert and co-owner Mark Gould will also be exhibited. Short presentations by Interior Design Consultant and Store Manager Kelly Geddes and the artists are planned.

As Alamosa Home enters its third year, an integral part of its mission is providing a venue for local artists and artisans that inspire a beautiful home with quality furnishings and a touch of great art!
