Alamosa enrollment holding

ALAMOSA — The Alamosa School District Board of Education was presented with the numbers for the October enrollment count on Monday night.

As of October 3rd, the number of students enrolled has maintained at 2,334. This has seemingly been a recent trend within the district as this was the exact same number that was reached for the 2017 count.

The number has been leveling out as compared to the past two years. However, Superintendent Rob Alejo observed that it is certainly better than losing students.

In addition, a new group of student teachers from the Adams State University were present to observe the meeting. There was also a presentation from Teen Tech, the computer science class that has been established at Alamosa High School.
