Amid blue, cloudless skies Alamosa Elementary 3-5 celebrated Friday morning with a Cultural Diversity Festival and fun. Parents, family and friends were invited to celebrate with the students as they performed a Chinese Ribbon dance (third grade), a Native American song (fourth grade), a guitar performance (fifth grade), as well as face painting, storytelling, paper mache flag decorating, games and more. Music teacher Ryan Sederquist directs fourth grade AES students in a Native American song performance, complete with drums, recorders and other percussion instruments. AES fifth graders show off their guitar skills and singing voices while presenting a special rendition of Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer” under the direction of PE teacher Jeremy Alonzo (not pictured).
