ALAMOSA — The 15th annual Alamosa Artwalk will be June 2 and 3 in downtown Alamosa.

This yearly event will include more than 30 artists featuring paintings, pottery, musical performances, fiber arts and sculpture. Meet the artists, enjoy jewelry demos, Boys and Girls Club chalk art and refreshments.

Participants can pick up a brochure at participating downtown businesses, visit at least 12 venues and enter to win one of $800 worth of prizes. The drawings will take place Saturday at 4 p.m. at Nestles.  Winners MUST be present at one of the venues to win. Winners will be announced on the radio and venues will have five minutes to call and claim the prize.

This year’s Artwalk will take place in conjunction with the unveiling of the 17 new art sculptures in downtown Alamosa. The unveiling is scheduled for Friday, June 2, at 5:30 p.m. at the depot on Sixth Street.
