Adams State will host free conference

ALAMOSA – The Adams State University English, Theatre, and Communication Department is pleased to announce its second annual conference “The Road Taken: High Impact Academic Practices that Support Readers and Writers.” The conference features best-practices presentations; a keynote by Kimba Rael, Adams State alumna and San Luis Valley Educator of the Year, 2016; and special guest speaker, Levi Romero, director of the New Mexico Cultural Landscapes Program, Chicana and Chicano Studies, University of New Mexico.

The Road Taken Conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Friday, April 21, in McDaniel Hall.

Light breakfast and lunch provided for all participants. Registration and meal costs are covered by Adams State University.
