There were no injuries to the couple involved in this Wednesday accident on South River Road, Alamosa, about 1 p.m., but the crash knocked down a power line. Xcel quickly responded to shut down power so emergency workers could work the scene.

Besides ambulance and Xcel crews, also responding to the accident were Colorado State Patrol, Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office and Alamosa Volunteer Fire Department.
