Consuelo (Connie) Maria Lucero formerly of Antonito, Colo., 86, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Brighton Care Center Brighton, Colo.

Connie is survived by her children, John (Larry) (Marcella) Lucero, Brighton, Colo., Maria (Helen) Lucero, Fort Lupton, Colo., Lillian Lucero, Arvada, Colo., Arnella (Herman) Vigil, Antonito, Colo., Emery (Brenda) Lucero, Fountain, Colo., and Terri Jo Lucero, New Port Beach, Va.; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; siblings Jenny Ruybal, Denver, Colo., and Chris Ruybal, Alamosa, Colo.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Felix and Fedelia Gonzales who raised her parents Juan De Dios and Elena Ruybal; and her son Stanley Ricky Lucero.

A Memorial Service will be held. Cremation has been chosen. A Recitation of the Rosary followed by Memorial Mass on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Church Conejos, Colo.

Inurnment at Las Mesitas Cemetery. Reception to follow at Guadalupe Church Parish Hall.
