Center Housing Authority Director Theresa (Audrey) Chavez, 61, appeared for a Saguache County Court hearing last week to answer charges of second degree burglary, a class three felony and criminal mischief, a class one misdemeanor, for allegedly failing to use the proper eviction procedure to eject a tenant.
