Alamosa schools join tech revolution

ALAMOSA — A “maker space” is coming to town, and those looking to create and innovate are invited to join the club.

The Alamosa Board of Education (ABOE) Monday approved Ste2am, a new club focusing on science, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, art and mathematics, during their regular meeting after learning about what the maker space will bring not only to the Alamosa School District (ASD), but the community as a whole.
