DEL NORTE— Michael Pinon-Arambula, 29, of Alamosa will be close to retirement age when he gets out of prison.
The convicted drug dealer was sentenced to 32 years in the Department of Corrections July 21 after a sentencing hearing in Rio Grande District Court.
Pinon-Arambula was arrested in August 2011 as part of a multi-agency investigation and was found guilty of methamphetamine distribution.
A jury convicted him of felony distribution of a Schedule II controlled substance, methamphetamine. He was accused of selling an ounce of the substance for $1,000 to a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) undercover informant.
