ALAMOSA — Character education just got cheaper.
Future Development LLC’s Elario Rickey brought the Alamosa Board of Education (ABOE) Monday a reconfigured funding request for his character education services, slicing the original $30,000 price in half.
Interest from new and unnamed clients and La Puente’s AmeriCorps volunteer program changes Rickey’s fiscal needs to start up the character education program in the Valley, he said.
“The cost is not going up,” Rickey said, “but we will use lots of AmeriCorps volunteers.”
