ALAMOSA COUNTY ó If it was only as easy as having a peanut truck drive down Sixth Street to woo the Pink Elephant right out of town.
But itís not. In fact, demolishing the eyesore on the east end of Alamosa is becoming a bit of a challenge.
Alamosa County Economic Development Corporation/Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Randy Wright said Wednesday during the Alamosa County Commissioners (ACC) meeting the building project is being delayed due to the Brownfield grant process, the pending purchase of Sicc & Twisted and the need for more funding.
