Horse rescue considers move to SLV

ALAMOSA — “We would like to move the horse rescue out here, if we can find support,” Richard Mills, the co-founder of Buck Creek Valley Animal Rescue in Indiana.

Mills set out on horseback last July, beginning at The Falls of the Ohio in Clarksville, Indiana, to raise awareness and money for the organization he founded to rescue neglected and abused horses. The ride will conclude at Big R in Alamosa Saturday morning.
